Feel right at home in the warm, cozy interiors of ADL Assisted Living — a small, family-owned community offering assisted living and memory care services in Baytown, Texas. Settled in a small residential area, surrounded by birch trees, is our single-story, Ranch-style community. Our location allows residents to easily relax, but we are close enough to local attractions, like the Houston Raceway and nearby beaches, to keep the days exciting.
ADL Assisted Living is family owned and operated by a registered occupational therapist, who oversees all care services with their experienced oversight. The small size of the community allows for a high caregiver-to-resident ratio, allowing our staff to attend to the individual needs of each resident without intruding on their independence.
Our friendly and professional staff is available around the clock for assisted living services. Every staff member is specially trained in dementia management and fall prevention strategies, so you can feel at ease knowing your loved one is in good hands. We also offer a variety of medical services, such as medication management and incontinence care, among other services. Visiting podiatrists and physicians visit on a consistent basis to help ensure that residents’ care plan is up...

ADL Assisted Living has been a life changing experience for us. They keep my mother clean. Her hair is clean. She's happy. They encourage her to participate in activities. [name removed] and her staff have been wonderful. They have built a connection with my mother. And this smaller type of care home has been a great fit for her.

My mother in law lived at ADL Assisted Living for about a year before the Lord called her home. I was very pleased with the quality of care she received from the staff, they showed her love and acceptance. I felt comfortable leaving her after each visit because they treated her like family. I highly recommend ADL in Baytown Tx. Blessings, [name removed]

Response from ADL Assisted Living
October 13, 2019Thank you for this review! The caregivers to go over and beyond to provide excellent care. Be blessed!
Where to start. We had experienced a couple of large facilities in Baytown prior to ADL and were very disappointed with the care our parents received. After several falls and calls in the middle of the night to come and “care for our parents” who were in full-nursing care facilities, we found ADL. What an amazing place full of loving, qualified caregivers who treated our parents like their parents. My family and I were in and out of ADL often and several times per week and sometimes per day - every time, we found our parents and other residents to be well fed, well cared for and safe. Not one time did either of our parents fall while in their care. Nor did we get a call to sit with them because they could not handle their situation. Both of our parents have now passed but thanks to [name removed] and her team of wonderful caregivers at ADL, their last days were filled with treatment of care, respect and love. They went above and beyond for Mother and Dad and for our family and for that we will always be grateful. I could go on and on but I will close with saying - there is no place better for your loved one than with these ladies. There was such a peace of mind that we had not known before and that is irreplaceable when trying to find the right place for a loved one. Thank you!

October 13, 2019Thank you Kathy for this review! The LeDoux- Self family will forever be part of the ADL Family! I have been very blessed with loving caregivers and great families as well. Stop by for a visit anytime you are in the area. We are expanding to the Highlands as well. Much love. Virginia C.
ADL Assisted living has proven to be the best place my Mom could be. She is healthier now than she has been in years. Virginia and the staff are outstanding! I cant say enough about how they take care of the people there. Highly recommend you call and speak with [name removed]. Thank you, [name removed]

September 6, 2019Thank you Mitch for this review! We love you and your family and strive to make sure mom is pleased and comfortable!
Im writing this review for who ever is looking for a good place to take care of their loved one, I have had my mother there for several years now and im very satisfied. All of the caregivers there are very friendly and take good care of all of the people living there. If you go there to visit the home is always clean they keep it very clean year around and the staff is always keeping an eye on everything and are very professional on how they perform their work . If you take your loved one to a nursing home the caregivers usually have more than ten people to look after, here the caregivers have no more than four at a time the number varies but not by much. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to go to ADL assited living and take a look and ask questions the staff there is friendly and will help you and answer any questions you have.

September 10, 2019Thank you for this review! We appreciate your recognition of the hard work of the caregivers. Our focus has and always will be on one-on-one care and offering a unique experience for each individual and family. God bless.
Went online looking for a placement for my wife, who has Alzheimer's! A Place for Mom called and recommended ADL Assisted Living, which is located in a home in a very nice neighborhood! It is very conveniently located a short drive from our house. This works out well in that I can take her out anytime of the day! She can still spend time at our house and see her familiar items and also snuggle up with our 80 lb. yellow lab. I cannot say enough about the staff who does a wonderful job! Previously my wife was in a large Memory Care unit which had 30 patients! ADL can only hold up to 11 patients due to it's size! It has worked out so much better having so much more individualized attention! If your loved one needs such type of placement, I would highly recommend ADL Assisted Living!

September 7, 2019Thank you Rick for this review! We are indeed blessed to have loving and caring caregivers. We strive to provide excellent care at all times!
The quality of care here is far higher than what you will pay at any larger commercial community. There is far more attention given to each residents specific needs, and the communication with family members is excellent. I wish more activities could be arranged with the residents, even if it was on site, but the home is clean and we'll kept, and the staff is so accommodating! It is in a lovely suburban neighborhood and an outdoor area is provided.

September 6, 2019Thank you Jenna for this review and working on getting more activities on site! We appreciate you and your family!
I love the home atmosphere at ADL. My dad has dementia and Alzheimer's and the staff is really good with him. I had some major issues with the nursing home my dad was previously in and [name removed], the owner, was very helpful in getting my dad moved. The staff is very nice. I know my dad is in good hands and that lets me sleep better at night.

I ended up picking this facility for my Aunt because it was close to my work and they had everything set up for what she needed. The staff members have been really attentive to her needs and they call me promptly if there is an issue. The facility has no problem with me coming over anytime day or night to check in on her. Right now they only have 11 residents and plenty of staff to take care of them. They don’t really have any activities besides watching TV. My Aunt also says the food is bland and they serve a lot of rice. I would recommend this facility to other families.

So far it has been good and my husband is doing better with help from physical and occupational therapy. The staff are helpful and pleasant. I think the community is kept maintained and organized. My husband for the most part likes the food, it could be better. I am overall satisfied with the community.

Excellent facility. Virginia and her staff are kind, caring and efficient. Cooperative in every way. So very glad to have received this referral. My 91-year old aunt is very comfortable in her private room with her own things around her. She's been there since May 5, and has had no complaints about the care, competence and caring attitude of the staff.

September 25, 2019Thank you!
Mom has only been at ADL for a little over a week and things seem to be going pretty good so far, Mom was fresh out of the hospital and still adjusting but I know that she is in good hands there. The staff are very nice and friendly and whether I go day or night it is always very clean and the food smells very good! I'm hoping that things continue to go well and I am confident that it will.
