What's nice about it is that it's a small facility. You have your call button, and when you press it somebody usually comes right away. (With larger facilities it can take a long time.) That's definitely a plus. For the most part, the staff was very friendly and very helpful, aside from one person. When we brought any issues that came up to management, they were responsive.

In general, the care and the facility have been acceptable. There is a wide range of clients that they have to service, and overall it's an acceptable place to take a loved one.

Some of the nurses there are just fantastic but the management staff is where they really struggle. They do not have enough staff so they need to hire more staff and higher trained staff members. Once they higher more staff that is when the rest of the issues can be improved. For example the evening staff occasionally will have to go prepare the meals for the residents which pulls them away from caring for the residents themselves. The meals are often served cold or sometimes the night staff did not have a planned menu to work from so they would have to wing it which would include leftovers

This is not a place I can recommend to anyone. The caregivers try but lack the tools to complete their jobs. Horrible management and owner does not care about her facility as shown from the moment you walk in. Poor training, poor resources and poor follow through. We could not leave my family member alone as we did not feel she was safe and ended up moving them out after one week. There is no confidence of being a safe and trusted facility to leave a loved one. Some staff were good, others were there to collect a pay check. One staff told my family that she doesn't believe in god because why would god do this to all of you???? not a place you can leave your loved one and feel they are in good hands. Sad, just sad. they do not have to be like this.

My experience with this place was short lasting only about 8 months and my big concern was with lack of trained staff & high turnover. During covid lack of temps being checked at door with non functioning temperature equipment with visitors without masks as well as staff unmasked was a high concern of mine seeing our loved ones are very vulnerable and my loved one did eventually contract covid that was brought into the home by a staff member. Lack of compassion from the start of care nonetheless at the end stages by some staff & care & also safety of my loved one was a big concern. The food did not look appealing and I think there were times my loved one did not eat. The cleanliness of the resident rooms esp the bathrooms were not cleaned regularly and did not smell clean! Overall lack of knowledge with untrained staff affected most aspects of my loved ones care !

Would not recommend this facility for a loved one. Aides had poor training to deal with the residents. No activities done with the residents. Rarely cleaned rooms. Food wasn’t very good.

I can not recommend this place to anyone. My loved one had stinky bathroom with sticky floors, the food was unappealing with staff snacking while feeding residents. Pretty much no activities. Many of the caregivers had poor training to interact with residents who suffered from dementia.

The staff was wonderful and they took good care of my loved one, the facility was clean, and it was a small facility. They provided a great one on one attention. It also was a great value for your money. I would recommend this community to others,

I think Libby's House is a good place to have your loved one live. The room sizes are average. I like the layout of the community. They have outdoor space for the residents to use. Overall it has been a positive experience.
