This place was awful. Had my Dad there for a year. They do not feed their residents well. My Dad, when I would pick him up, his earlobes would be bleeding from him messing with them. As soon as I got him out of that place his ears healed up right away. He is now staying at a fantastic senior home that cares about their seniors. Able Manor is just in it for the money. They did not get balanced diets there.

Toured here on 6/16/16 looking for a place for my Dad. The owner was nice and the facilities were clean and tidy. Beautiful yard and nice deck for the residents to enjoy. Although my Dad has Alzheimers Dementia, he is still able to carry on a conversation and is very mobile. The other residents (3 men) appeared to be fairly limited in mobility and ability to socialize. Not a good fit for my Dad.

Meet with Cathy, house was clean and orderly. Two clients were watching TV and one was in their room. Only men at the home at this time. Beautiful deck on the front and back of the house. House on a few acres in a older neighborhood, well suited for this business. Only issue was that the carpet was light colored and needing replacement throughout the bedrooms, hallway, and living room. Kitchen was hardwood.

This state of the art facility was just the place for my Father. When we brought him there about 3 yrs ago he was 89, a diabetic with legs stiff and cold, overall health deteriating fast. The professional, loving care he received from the staff there turned his health around to where he could enjoy the last years of his life. Our family will be forever grateful to Able Manor.

I liked this place. The caregiver seems very intune to the residents. She answered all my questions, the home was large, bright, and handicap accessable. Only thing I didn't like is that she works 8-7 every day. 11 hours is too long for one person, I think. She'd been working there about 6 months only. The owner was not there, even tho I'd made an appt to visit. She does live there, spends the night.
