There were steps and ramps which would be difficult for someone with a walker. They allowed smoking in the house. Up to three in a bedroom.

It was very loud here often, considering that is the same place where the staff live. There were kids and animals running around. My mom was here for a week until she fell. I don't really know how it was but I was notified by her physical therapist of some updates about her care.

I highly recommend The Abbey which is so much more than assisted living. Beyond the competent care and medical attention it is a home a family and I will never forget the compassionate caretaking of not one but two of my most precious family members over a decade. The meals are well planned and nutritious with the special needs of each person considered. Cleanliness is evident everywhere without the medicinal smell associated with every other place I have experienced. There is never over-medication to manage behavior they have the knowledge experience and patience to handle all in the capacity and level required. I love Lori [Removed] and everyone who makes The Abbey the above and beyond assisted living facility that it is.
