Residential Care Home
At Reynolds Assisted Living Home they have a little bus that is handicap accessible and they will take memory care residents on outings. Most other places only provide outings for the assisted living residents, but because Reynolds is a small facility and they have smaller amounts of people they'll play oldies on the bus and take the residents to parks or pancake breakfasts, things like that. There is a guy who will even pick up discarded flower arrangements and bring them to the residents to make their own flower arrangements. The residents always have fresh flowers in their rooms. The price and the smaller size of Reynolds were the main reasons for choosing here for mom. They have more activities than other places we've experienced. I really like that my mom has access to the outdoors. There is a little enclosed garden in the back that has walking paths and a bench. Residents can plant in the garden and take care of their plant. I've lost track of how many other facilities I looked at, it's well over ten, but Reynolds Assisted Living is five stars all the way around. I'd give them a 10, actually, for activities!
The facility is well cared for. The staff is good. I know they struggle like all facilities right now in getting good workers. My brother is lactose intolerant and they do a good job of providing him with food he can eat and enjoy. I feel timberwood has been a good fit for my brother and would recommend it.I think the fact that the owner and his family are routinely on site taking care of things makes a difference in the quality of the facility.
They’re tops! The staff should get a ten out of five if possible! I think for what it is – I think it’s a good value. I get to visit once a week, but all their meals are prepared for them. Their medicines are brought to them. They have a gym so they can exercise. They have karaoke. They go to the farmer’s market. They can garden if they like.
