Residential Care Home
I love this place! My mom was at another home and she was falling all the time! She was black and blue, but since I moved her here almost a year ago... no falls. She is doing great! No falls! She's even walking more! The other "assisted living" kept her in a wheelchair because they didn't want to watch her. Here she is an individual and she is FAMILY! They are a family home that makes all of the individuals that make Hawthorne Home their home their family too! We know the staff as if they were our own family. [Removed] does a great job with our mother and I could imagine no place better!
They’re tops! The staff should get a ten out of five if possible! I think for what it is – I think it’s a good value. I get to visit once a week, but all their meals are prepared for them. Their medicines are brought to them. They have a gym so they can exercise. They have karaoke. They go to the farmer’s market. They can garden if they like.
I feel like they do a great job with the care here. I don't get a chance to visit often but everything I've seen is excellent. The caregivers are friendly and professional, and it is a well kept and clean facility. Since I am located out of state I've really been impressed by their ability to handle situations that arise without my needing to intervene.
