Who are you searching for?
Residential care homes in Washington may appeal to seniors who value smaller, more close-knit communities and many opportunities for socialization. Washington care homes typically take in fewer residents, meaning older adults know each resident in the home and develop strong friendships.
Older-adult care homes vary more than other options for senior living in Washington, so families can choose from a wide range of prices, amenities, and services. A Place for Mom will work with you to understand the cost of care homes. From there, we’ll help you find the right fit, whether you’re staying on a budget or searching for luxury retirement communities.

Residential Care Home
I highly recommend the Lovettsville Home for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or otherwise needing 24/7 care or assistance. My mother spent 11 years at the home, and I couldn't ask for better care at a cost significantly below what would spend at one of the larger or better-known facilities. The small staff treats the residents and their families as part of their own family, and my siblings and I never worried if our mother was getting the around-the-clock care she required. If you have a parent or loved one in a similar situation, I strongly recommend you visit and consider the Lovettsville Home as an option.
Things are actually good. Mother's not participating in any activities but that's just her, they do try to encourage her and she will watch the afternoon football. At this point I really don't know what they could improve on, they do talk to her all the time, they're all very friendly to her; most of the improvement needs to be on my mom's side, she needs to tell them what she needs. They're making sure she has a schedule and they make sure she knows it and what's going on. I think more and more she's getting more comfortable. There is also a doctor who comes in and visits them there and they will provide transportation if you want to do that instead.
