This community had great staff. It was very clean. The owner and the staff tried hard to accommodate my father but unfortunately it was not the right fit for him. The owner was very optimistic. The staff tried to pay attention the best they could to my dad it just did not work.

Echelon Place in Mansfield, TX

This is a great care home, and my mother is doing very well since her move here. I'am very satisfied with all they have done for us. My mother is doing very well, and she has adjusted great to this care home. The staff is great, they are helpful, and kind. The cleanliness of the care home is good, they do a good job with keeping everything well-maintained. I know she is safe, and in good hands here, and I would recommend this care home.

Fleurdleys Inc. in Fort Worth, TX

The people there at Fleurdleys are truly wonderful people. All of these places are expensive, but they are reasonably priced and deliver on the value. They communicate incredibly well, always calling me when they need to, etc. My experience has been very good.

What are care homes?

Residential care homes are houses in residential neighborhoods that are equipped, adapted, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually between two and 10. Like assisted living communities, staff at care homes typically help residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication management. Although residential care homes vary significantly depending on the community, services usually include:

  • Help with personal care
  • Medication management
  • Mobility assistance
  • Nutritious meals
  • Social activities and outings
  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry
