Residential Care Home
I like how it is not some big cooperate owned place, it is just [name removed] who owns it and I have his number if I ever need anything - he is always easy to get a hold of. The staff are wonderful and easy to communicate with and provide great care. I would definitely recommend 4 Seasons.
Our experience with Avendelle has been very good, we are very happy with the care our loved one has been receiving. We are also very happy with the low ratio of residents to staff members, they do not have a ton of people to look after there. The home itself is clearly well taken care of, and we are just overall very pleased.
I love how the staff go above and beyond to make sure that my loved one is receiving great care. My loved one is happy he loves this place. The care giving staffs attitude is always positive they make this a family atmosphere. Meals served are wonderful they are nutritious, taste good and have just the exact portions to them.

Planning ahead can better position you to make good choices for your loved one’s care in the future. But if your aging family member needs care now, there are ways to finance the cost of long-term care through a combination of approaches.
Residential care homes are houses in residential neighborhoods that are equipped, adapted, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually between two and 10. Like assisted living communities, staff at care homes typically help residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication management. Although residential care homes vary significantly depending on the community, services usually include:
An upscale residential town along Grapevine Lake, Flower Mound offers a serene retirement with easy access to both outdoor activities and big-city attractions. This attractive suburb on the northwest end of the Dallas–Fort Worth area offers lakeside hiking and biking trails plus several expansive large parks and nature preserves that make the congestion of the surrounding metropolis seem a whole world away.
In Flower Mound, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.
The cost of living in a care home depends largely on location. Since the homes are private residences, costs are tied to real estate value and therefore may vary greatly. However, the median monthly cost of assisted living in 2020 was about $4,400 in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and $4,000 in the state of Texas, according to Genworth.
