Residential Care Home
They did a really good job with my mother-in-law. They took care of her medications real well, helped a lot with the transition from a different facility to a foster home, etc. It was a good overall experience and I would recommend Spring Lily Adult Foster Home.
Home is in nice community setting. Clean, 11 room facility with open living area ( living room, dining room, kitchen). Staff is available to family and most of staff are excellent with residents. Meals are balanced and homemade; posted on blackboard in common eating area. Fewer men than women. Most residents are at a higher level of acuity. Check out if interested, go spend some time to see if it's a good place for your family member.
The move-in experience was very good. The person that I worked with was very accommodating and made it very easy for us. It was something that we had to deal with with some urgency, and she really helped us out. The other residents there are not fully functioning, so my father (who is still up and about and functioning though he has dementia) does not really have anyone to interact with, except when we visit. But they keep him safe, clean, and well fed. Overall he is doing well and we are pleased. It is a good place.
