Residential Care Home
I am very happy with the community. They could improve on the quality of the food. Overall, I would recommend to ther families.
Pine Tree Adult Foster home provides respect to our loved ones. They are also involved greatly in the lives of the residents. They care about the medical conditions and accompany you to their doctors' appointments. Pine Tree staff also do things by the book. They are concerned about doctors' orders and they follow the rules for foster homes. Always impressive to show up to find home- cooked meals, baked goods, & a clean kitchen. The food looks appetizing as well as good quality. The quantity of the food is on the plates, as well. We highly recommend this adult foster care. We haven't been there long enough to see activities, however they're planning a BBQ this summer for the residents, on the patio. This is the only foster home I observed in which workers were wearing scrubs and take their job seriously. There is usually 2 to 3 staff on duty as well, when I show up there at the home. This is also the reason I chose Pine Tree! Lastly, the staff there has a great sense of humor and wit.
Our mom stayed at home with the assistance of her family and "in home health care services" as long as possible, that was her wish. When night times became too much for us, we started exploring our options. Mom is a private person and so many options fell off our radar. We needed someplace private, some place that understood how to help Dementia clients and all the many issues that go with it. Our 3rd try was the Chestnut house and we immediately loved the caring nurturing attentive staff and the warm home family atmosphere... Our first impression was correct !!!! We are so grateful to have found a place for mom. We are welcome there any time and continue to be part of her life.
