They’re just beyond wonderful. It’s nice because they have three shifts of staff, so they’re all fresh. I think the activities – my loved one doesn’t really do a lot of activities. They’re just super kind to the residents. They are super kind and caring and want to do everything possible for your loved one. They check in to make that everything went well and if you’d like anything different next time.

Golden Pond Home in Maple Grove, MN
4.2

Golden Pond Home has been a great experience for our family. I believe my husband is very comfortable there and the staff are very kind and hardworking. The home is less than a mile away so it is very convenient. I'm anxiously waiting for pond to be in full color for Spring and Summer. My husband was visited by a bald eagle just outside the window yesterday. I believe it is the perfect place for him. Thank you.

What are care homes?

Residential care homes are houses in residential neighborhoods that are equipped, adapted, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually between two and 10. Like assisted living communities, staff at care homes typically help residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication management. Although residential care homes vary significantly depending on the community, services usually include:

  • Help with personal care
  • Medication management
  • Mobility assistance
  • Nutritious meals
  • Social activities and outings
  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry

Learn More About Care Homes in Roseville, MN

Roseville’s status as one of only two suburbs adjacent to Minneapolis and St. Paul makes it an ideal location for people looking for the amenities of city living without the hassle. While you enjoy a life of suburban solitude, you’ll have easy access to plenty of world-class theaters, health care facilities, and professional sporting events just a short distance away.

In Roseville, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.

Cost of Care Homes in Roseville, MN

The median monthly cost of a room in a care home in 2019 was about $6,450 in the state of Minnesota. However, the cost of living in a care home depends largely on location. Since the homes are private residences, costs are tied to real estate value and therefore may vary greatly.
