Residential Care Home
I toured several assisted living communities but recently decided on Applewood for my elderly mom because I felt the more smaller, cozier setting would be better suited for her. The facility is clean and warm, the staff is very kind, and my mom seems to like the meals. Improvement could be made in the area of staff communication or how resident needs information is shared between staff members, but I have had no issue that we were not able to work out. So far overall I think my mom is well cared for, her temperament has actually improved a little, and the administration is responsive and receptive. I would recommend Applewood to other friends and family.
The staff at Kindy Care Center have much compassion for each person {s} and my mother as well. Clean, easy location. Our family very grateful , Highly recommended . You or family member that is in need of care for a love one this the place to be. Thank you for your great service.

Rhoda's House was started in 1965 by Rhoda's parents, David and Alta Kindy, under the Kindy name. The facility has been continually licensed for 40+ years and Rhoda has been involved in resident care since she was a teen. Family life has been her heritage, training, and faith. With similar faith,...

The help is wonderful but the owners can be a little short with us. I just wonder about meals since we're not allowed to be there when they eat and they only allow visitors at certain times.
A lovely home with a picturesque setting on a main highway, convenient to medical facilities, churches, shopping, entertainment and public transportation. Shared or private bedrooms, some with own lavatories, are all on one level with cable included and phones available. Barrier free. Large...
