They are awesome, amazing. It's clean and the staff are friendly. It's going well, I have no concerns at all. They are great!
This community was very nice we had chosen it because it felt a little homier than others we had looked at. The staff is very nice and caring and we have good communication with them. In fact, it was them that brought it to our attention that mom was going to need hospice and they were going to take care of that for us. Mom is completely wheelchair bound now to the point where they need to deliver her meals to her room. The price wasn't any more expensive than others we looked at. My brother and I feel very confident in the choice we made and we know that she is receiving the best care she can get being there.
This was THEE place for my mom. They are very caring with everyone. It’s a small center and my mother received outstanding care all the way til her recent passing. [Name removed] is the heart of facility. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She stayed with my mom through the night while she was in hospice care and was with her until my mom’s last breath. I can’t say enough about her and the staff (especially [name removed]). I am grateful to the staff and the other residents who my mother met.

Planning ahead can better position you to make good choices for your loved one’s care in the future. But if your aging family member needs care now, there are ways to finance the cost of long-term care through a combination of approaches.
Residential care homes are houses in residential neighborhoods that are equipped, adapted, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually between two and 10. Like assisted living communities, staff at care homes typically help residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication management. Although residential care homes vary significantly depending on the community, services usually include:
Dracut, a suburb of Boston, offers its residents easy access to many of the resources and services needed to meet daily needs, such as shopping centers, restaurants, and healthcare facilities. The city’s location amongst larger, neighboring cities, like Lowell, allow for many leisure and entertainment opportunities in the surrounding area as well as in Boston’s accessible downtown.
In Dracut, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.
The median monthly cost of a room in a care home in 2019 was about $5,500 in the state of Massachusetts. However, the cost of living in a care home depends largely on location. Since the homes are private residences, costs are tied to real estate value and therefore may vary greatly.
The total household expenses associated with living in Dracut are rated 22 points above the national average. Grocery and other essential costs are also rated above the average.
