Residential Care Home
I was almost sold when I visited with the owners over the phone. They were knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. When I entered the house, it was clean and had a fun atmosphere. The perfect place to put my mom in. She's been there for about 4 months and on a recent visit to my home, I asked how thing were going and she had nothing but great stuff to say. That is very comforting since my mom has always said that she did not want to be put in a nursing home. This is a home up to 8 women, two care givers 24 hours a day and nurses that visit daily to check on the patients. Fabulous place.
My mom lived five years with me, just over 1.5 years in a medium-size memory care facility and then the last five months of her life in this lovely and loving home. They kept her protected and very well cared for until she reached her natural end of life, which we deeply appreciate, especially during this time. The staff, led by [name removed], is very attentive to the residents care, while maintaining the cleanliness of the home exactly the way you'd hope for your loved one. They were sensitive and responsive to me and my family members, keeping us in touch and informed. I cannot overstate my praise and gratitude. I do, without the slightest reservation, recommend this care home.
Mom enjoys living at House of Grace. The caregivers are nice and treat her like family. They have good healthy food. They keep the home clean and I would recommend it. They have a game room available as well as they have people come in to play music and sing.
