Who are you searching for?
Residential care homes in Monticello may appeal to seniors who value smaller, more close-knit communities and many opportunities for socialization. Monticello care homes typically take in fewer residents, meaning older adults know each resident in the home and develop strong friendships.
Older-adult care homes vary more than other options for senior living in Monticello, so families can choose from a wide range of prices, amenities, and services. A Place for Mom will work with you to understand the cost of care homes. From there, we’ll help you find the right fit, whether you’re staying on a budget or searching for luxury retirement communities.

Residential Care Home
The reason I chose Palm Shade Villa is because I visited their two assisted living homes unannounced 4 or 5 times and every time the place was bright, clean, and fresh smelling. The residents are in need of assisted care and they are receiving it. My loved one was moved from a larger facility and is happy to be receiving more individual attention from Palm Shade at a significantly cheaper price. It's a win-win! Ms. Drummond is running a very fine operation with very fine people working for her. I appreciate their services and care and don't have to worry about my loved one. I would recommend to others a facility like Palm Shade that has more of a personal care home operation over a larger senior care facility. A larger facility may offer more activities but the individual attention Palm Shade residents receive was more important to us. The value at Palm Shade is a 5++.
I am very happy knowing that my mom is getting good care at this very nice community. The community is clean and the staff is caring to her needs. She likes the meals and the variety. They do offer activities for her to enjoy. I would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.
So far they have been a pretty good community. We have had some unwanted surprises but we are working with them to get them situated. They do have an open line of communication with us so it makes it easier to deal with problems and find solutions. I would recommend this community to anyone.
