Safe Harbor Assisted Living in Longmont, CO

I was pleased with the quality of care the staff had provided my parents while they where in this home. They where attentive to there needs and made sure they felt safe in there living environment. The only complaint I had was that there are to many politics involved in this house. They are very religious and speak strongly about voting as a republican instead of letting everyone just have there own opinion like a normal assisted living center.

Bee Hive Homes of Colorado #3 in Fort Lupton, CO

The Ashley Manor has a very friendly, nice, and attentive staff. I think they could offer a few more activities to keep the residents more active and involved. Other than that, we are very pleased. My loved one is comfortable here. The facility is very clean, which is very important. The residents seem very happy and kind. It has been a positive experience. I would recommend this facility if your in the Fort Lupton area.

Discover the many ways to pay for senior living

Planning ahead can better position you to make good choices for your loved one’s care in the future. But if your aging family member needs care now, there are ways to finance the cost of long-term care through a combination of approaches.

What are care homes?

Residential care homes are houses in residential neighborhoods that are equipped, adapted, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually between two and 10. Like assisted living communities, staff at care homes typically help residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and medication management. Although residential care homes vary significantly depending on the community, services usually include:

  • Help with personal care
  • Medication management
  • Mobility assistance
  • Nutritious meals
  • Social activities and outings
  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry

In Greeley, residential care homes — sometimes called care homes, board and care homes, group homes, or personal care homes — are often houses in residential neighborhoods that are adapted, equipped, and staffed to care for a small number of residents, usually 10 or less. Similar to assisted living but in a smaller, more residential setting, these homes provide supervision, organized events, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This means care homes can help with everyday routines but typically do not provide 24-hour skilled nursing assistance.

Cost of Care Homes in Greeley, CO

The median monthly cost of a room in a care home is about $4,500 in the state of Colorado. However, the cost of living in a care home depends largely on location. Since the homes are private residences, costs are tied to real estate value and therefore may vary greatly.
