Things are going great. The staff are attentive and respecting my moms needs. They have so many activities going on - they have her out doing things that she would have never done before. It is expensive but for what she is getting and in comparison to other places it is great. The director [name removed] - I have the utmost respect for her. She is hands on and attentive to the residents, she even takes my mom out for walks. I would absolutely recommend Birchwood Cottage, we feel fortunate to have gotten her in here.
I did not want to leave my home. It is okay being here. It is hard that people "get in my business." Staff is helpful and kind. Food has good days and bad days but generally satisfactory.
