The staff has been very kind and caring toward my mother and have made us feel comfortable approaching them with any questions/ concerns that we might have. The facility is bright and warm and her apartment is very nice! It's comforting to know that she is somewhere safe!
My mother is in the Independent Living section of Harbors. Her room is very comfortably laid out and has a private bathroom. There are numerous activities offered to the residents. And the residents appear to be happy. There is nice outdoor space for the residents to enjoy in warmer weather. The dining/activity area is very spacious and clean. I have met many of the staff as well as the owner. They are all very friendly and encouraging. I personally know family members of residents who are in Assisted Living, and they are very happy to have their parent living at Harbors. I would recommend Harbors to other families looking for good care.
I’m so impressed and grateful for the level of care given to my mom as well as the other residents of Oscoda Fields. It is a smaller facility which lends itself to a “homey” atmosphere. The staff takes the time to get to know their residents and their needs as well as having open communication with family members. I’m so happy that I found this gem for my mom.
