The staff gets to know each resident on a personal level and treats them more like a member of their own family. They are very open to sharing information with the family and working with the family to make the residents more comfortable with their surroundings and treatments.

My father-in-law was a resident of Sunnybrook in Ft. Madison for almost 3 years. Prior to moving to Sunnybrook, his health was poor and he was hospitized monthly. He enjoyed the social aspect of visiting and playing cards with his friends at Sunnybrook. His mental and physical health also improved while at Sunnybrook. We credit Sunnybrook with giving us a couple more years with him.
