Memory Care
My parents moved in 6 weeks ago and seem quite pleased with Rubidge. The people are friendly and caring. They have activities for the seniors and meals are looked after. They have their dog with them and that also was no issue. There is a doctor that looks after the retirees and a nurse along with PSW workers that are available. They always have a PSW 24/7 in case of a need in the late hours.
I think it's great, but right now I would tell someone not to go there. Mostly because of the food. I was concerned after reading reviews on how terrible the food was. When visiting Regency, I asked the director and he assured me they had a new food provider. If so, it's still GROSS. None of them are happy with it. I would give it negative stars if I could. They've even tried to get a committee together to complain about it. Personally, I think that's one area that if it's bad, that just makes a bad experience. The residents don't have a lot, especially with Covid lockdowns. And I'm really disappointed in that. I feel like my loved one is happy there otherwise, but it would be nice for her to be able to look forward to meals again.
