We chose Country Place because my parents were both in another Country Place in another location so we knew the company. When speaking to my dads doctor, they also recommended this location for memory care. The staff has turned over so we do not have a good feel for the new staff quite yet, but the staff that was here before were very attentive and caring. I do not think that dad could be in a better place, someone from our family goes at least once a day and we have been happy with them. I would recommend to others looking, just make sure you are an advocate for your loved one.

Oak Pointe of Carthage
4.1

Don't take anything unless you don't mind if it gets lost. Things tend to disappear. They don't have enough staff. I don't think the activities are that great. They say they take the residents to participate, but very rarely do I see my loved one participating. I think that ties back to understaffing. I think it's overpriced. You pay because it's pretty, but they don't do a whole lot for the money. It's not a terrible place. It's probably better than a lot of them. It's just overpriced.

The Arbors at Glendale Gardens in Clinton, MO

Any issues mom has had at The Arbors at Glendale Gardens have been quickly resolved. The staff work really well with her. The value is good but of course it is expensive. She really hasn't been there long enough for me to say too much but so far so good.
