Golden Horizons of Aitkin

We chose Golden Horizons of Aitkin initially because the facility was smaller and easier for her to navigate. Mom really wanted to hate it when she got there. But the friendliness of everyone (and the good food) won her over despite her efforts to be miserable.

Golden Horizons of Sandstone
4.8

Overall we have been very pleased with the staff and their care services. We do not have first hand experience with the meals and dining service, but we feel what is being served is appropriate. It may not be as many home cooked meals as we would like but overall they food looks good. The activities are still somewhat limited. We do think the value for cost is good and we would absolutely recommend the Golden Horizon's community to other families

My grandpa has been living at this assisted living facility for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly attentive and caring, always going out of their way to make sure he is comfortable and well taken care of. The facility itself is well-maintained and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I feel confident knowing that my grandpa is in good hands and would highly recommend this assisted living facility to others looking for quality care.
