It was a tough decision to bring my mom to a care home as I was the main caretaker. The staff at Greenhills was more than just a care home. They became family and treated my mom as it she was their mom. I have no regrets and would recommend this home to anyone else.

People here are very friendly! When stand back & watch them work, you see how happy they are to be here. It's remarkable to see.

From the moment we toured the facility, we knew this was the place for dad. The director is an angel with endless energy, patience, and compassion for all her patients. Together with her staff she has created an exceptional and loving environment to best care for dad and all the other patients lucky to call this their home.

Whenever I visit my mother-in-law, I am struck by the positive, upbeat of all the staff. They bring such a wonderful spirit to the residents of Greenhills.

Greenhills is a wonderful place. I feel so lucky I was able to get mom here. They are very kind. The food is delicious & mom is picky & loves it. Shes made friends. The place is immaculate, very clean. Mom is always clean & neat. They have live entertainment a couple times a week. A piano player & a guitarist come every week. They do exercises, arts, crafts, & bingo. Lots to keep her busy. The manager is amazing. She's so nice & helpful. I feel blessed to be able to let mom stay there.

I looked for months for a place for dad, who had dementia. Geenhills was suggested by a friend and as we had been doing, we invited mom and dad to meet the director and see the home. Mom liked it right away, but we had to wait for an opening. We were impressed by the care my dad received. They relieved his biggest fear which was going "hungry." They took him to appointment with doctors and dentists. They arranged for haircuts, the cutting of his toenails and fingernails. We visit twice/week and the home was always lean. When mom could no longer stay home by herself, she joined dad. By the time dad passed, mom would not have adjusted well at another home so she stayed for another years until she joined dad again. All of the staff was friendly to my folks and to us and made us happy to know Greenhills was the right place for mom and dad. I had 2 people recommend Greenhills to me. I'm glad I listened. I have to mention, my mom was not the easiest person to be around. She was the opposite of my dad, a regular "force of nature." But the staff and director of Greenhills were always kind to her. During the COVID lockdown there wasn't a single positive testing ... until the restrictions lifted and families were allowed to take residents out ... But Greenhills couldn't control everything at that point. We lost mom during the lockdown, but were allowed t come in and say goodbye (after testing & sanitizing, etc). The staff was so kind. I have other people to Greenhills and they've all been glad to have found a home for their loved ones.

We are truly blessed to have found Greenhills care home. Under the direction and program of [name removed], my dad received the best care and was so loved. We are so grateful to [name removed] and her staff!

Looking for care for my mother with advanced Alzheimer's disease was difficult since most care homes were not geared towards memory care. Greenhills was recommended by a few colleagues and they had great things to say. This home has definitely been a home away from home for my mom. The communication care and experience are top notch!

For anyone needing memory care for a loved one, what is the greatest concern? I choose compassionate, skilled care with dignity. After having experienced several previous facilities, both small and corporate, my opinion of the absolute best care for my loved one with Alzheimer's is Greenhills. This home doesn't have a big fancy fireplace in a large living room. It doesn't have bathrooms in private rooms. What it does have is a highly trained experienced staff under the guidance of [name removed] who for 30 years has lovingly cared for and developed a program for this special group of people who need to be kept safe and comfortable while they are living in the unfamiliar world of dementia. They cant navigate their own lives anymore. They have worked raised families and contributed to society. Now they deserve compassion as they are in their twilight years, needing protection and comfort. Greenhills has provided that as well as peace of mind for me as I know my loved one received the best care by skilled professionals. I can sleep at ight without worry.

My wife has been a resident for several years. The care is so good and attentive I don't worry about her comfort or safety. I highly recommend Green Hills

My mother who passed away in March of 2023 was a resident of GreenHills Care Home for almost 4 years. This was her third senior living facility that she had lived in and by far the best! The administrator and her staff treated all the residents and families with respect and dignity and their health hygiene and happiness were always a top priority. I feel so lucky to have found this facility for my mom.

Recommended by a friend who had her parents there for year My companion had no speech and severely limited mobility. Management and staff ensured they maintained his mobility by 2 staff stabilizing him to take a few steps daily. Clean facility, well trained staff, treat residents like family. Excellent communication from the manager to family.

The decision to move our mother into assisted living was very difficult and emotional. After some research, we found Greenhills Care Home. With positive reviews online, and after a FaceTime meeting with the administrator, we knew that this was going to be her new home. The first few months were difficult as my mother got used to her new surroundings. Three years later, my mom is happy, and we have found an extended family with the staff at Greenhills. Their care and patience is like none other and we couldn't be more grateful.

I would like to share my experience in regard to the care provided by Greenhills Care Home in American Canyon, CA. My mother is a current resident, she is 97 years young with Dementia and has been a resident for two and a half years. She was a resident of two prior care homes before Greenhills. The Administrator operates Greenhills with skill and compassion not only for the resident but for the families of the resident. The facility/accommodations are clean, organized, comfortable, safe and well-staffed. The staff are skilled, attentive, patient, warm and welcoming. With little turn over of staff there is a consistency that is comforting for the residents and families. When I visit my mother, she is comfortable and content. Her needs ie., hygiene, medications, diet and physical well being are consistently attended to by staff. I am grateful to the Administrator and her staff for the philosophy of care they operate by. Residents are individuals cared for with compassion and respect.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the caregivers are. We moved our mother to Greenhills and we were concerned how she would do in a smaller residential care home. The staff is top notch and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with and redirecting those suffering from dementia. Our mother was previously at a well known Napa facility and we had an absolutely terrible experience with caregivers that truly had no idea how to deal with the devastating effects of this disease.
