Green Park PCH

I cannot say enough good things about Green Park PCH. My father has been there for almost 2 years now. Dad has Alzheimer’s and when he arrived, he had a terrible pressure wound and was in a lot of pain. He was afraid and had been going through MANY changes in the past 2 months. As soon as he arrived at Green Park, the owner, [name removed], had him feeling right at home. The rooms are clean, large and have big windows looking out on beautiful views. The place is new and is ALWAYS very clean. I know how much he loves the people that work there by the big smiles whenever someone walks in the room. Dad is full service, bedridden. They do get him up and in a wheelchair to visit and eat with the others. They always have wonderful activities and holiday parties. The residents get haircuts, foot care, among other care on a regular basis. The same people have been there and have been healthy since day 1. I feel so blessed to have found this place. [name removed] treats everyone as if they were her very own.

A much smaller community, Green Park always very clean and very reasonably priced. The staff is always walking around cleaning. They also do a really good job with reaching out with communication and engaging every resident. They individualize each person's care and experience; they really make the effort to get to know the residents and they make sure they engage with them on a personal level. They have music and sing-alongs and one of the staff members even brings in a small band in for the residents' entertainment. They also have a sun room so the residents are getting sunlight every day and have something to do. The food is good and is prepared daily by the cooking staff. There seems to be good variety and they are good about accommodating for dietary needs. They also have family events where we are allowed to come in and dine with the residents as a group. They have other activities where they are able to do some small group activities, like coloring. The care has been good. They have done a good job making sure my mother is clean and hygienic. They are very attentive with her. They really do seem to care about the residents. She went from a larger community to this one and the care is much better. They will also assist with coordinating care. For example, we wanted my mother to be as mobile as possible, so they helped her get set up with a walker and ensure she was able to walk around as needed. I would tell anybody, smaller is better!

The caregivers at Green Park PCH (#1) were extremely attentive, warm and helpful for the last few days of my mother's life. The facility was much easier for me to access than the rehab location my mother was at so I was able to be with her much more to try and comfort her. I highly recommend them!

We absolutely love this community. My mother really likes it here. They are taking very good care of her. It is wonderful community, they do a very good job with keeping everything nice and clean. Her room is always clean when I visit. The staff is outstanding, I really tip my hat off to them. They have done everything I've asked of them. I know she is receiving excellent care. I would highly recommend this community.

Our experience with Green Park was a very good one! The main caregiver here, Angie, is caring and trustworthy! They worked really well in conjunction with Hospice to make my moms last months pleasant. They also kept her very clean and responded to her needs quickly which was more than I was able to do with her at home. The facility itself could use a little updating, some touch ups to peeling wall paper and woodwork in the bathrooms would be nice, But if you are primarily looking for someone really sweet, gentle and nurturing to look after your loved one you can't do better than Angie!

Because A Place for Mom exists, I was able to find perfect & loving care for my 94 yr old in a personal care home. She had spent 5 months in a nursing home and it just wasn't a good fit. A Place for Mom took the searching headaches away. It is a perfect match.

We chose Green Park because it was in the best location for me and my brother, but it ended up being the best place we could have chosen for several reasons. The staff are all caring, patient and kind. The food was very good. They had special parties for holidays, a person came in once a week for crafts and games, and I never had to worry about my mom getting her medicine correctly administered. I can’t say enough about [name removed], the manager of the facility. Her sweet and caring attitude set the tone for everyone. She also knew when it was time for hospice and I was grateful she brought it up as I was not knowledgeable about the whole program. It was a real blessing to my mom. It is so difficult to have to make a decision like this for a parent but I am very happy we found Green Park.

I think that they have managed to regulate my loved one's bowels, which is a good thing. We were not able to accomplish that when she was living with us. She seems to be happy there at the Green Park PCH 2.

Angie, the caretaker here is very warm and friendly. She would be a great caretaker. The only draw back here was the lack of services to the home. No physicians, dentists, services come to the home regularly.

Sounds like tons of activities!

Nice family home, contemorary style off Bells Ferry Rd. Getting out of driveway onto Bells Ferry is a little bit of a problem because of traffic. Facility itself and staff very good.

Very nice home with nice staff. Large family room and good size bedrooms. Great choice!

Older home with a bed and breakfeast type of feel. Residents seem a little more attentive and talkative.Grade C+ but quality residents are a plus.

Ranch style "Personal Care Hm" that houses 3/4 people.

#350.00 admission fee which she does not have. so so neighborhood. share small bathroom. not a good fit.

VERY small place, very outdated looking, stagnant in energy, the room was depressing/dreary, the cook and Kate were very nice though, but the place was little to be desired. They are only equipped to house three occupants. Honestly, I wouldn't pay over $250 for lodging alone!
