When trying to find a place for our Mom the first concern was placing her in a safe and caring facility. Secondly, the staff being knowledgeable not just a job to them. Third, the facility is clean and well maintained. Our Mother has been at the Woodlands for over 2 years. In that time, we have seen the competent, caring and loving attention given to her. We have grown to know and greatly appreciate the staff. If there is a concern, we bring up it is discussed and resolved amicably. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a rehabilitation center or nursing home.... Read more

My loved one is doing well there. Everybody is super friendly and they change and help her. They bring her food.

Everything has been fine at Woodlands Place Rehabilitation! Everything is good including the nursing care. Although I do wish they could have done a better job cleaning his room.

I think the place is really nice and new and it's clean. The staff is friendly and pretty prompt. My friend is already making progress with her therapy. My first impression, initially when my loved one was admitted, was that it seemed like the staff was a little overwhelmed. Though we did arrive just after dinner and the staff were busy with all the post-meal stuff.

There are good ones and bad ones as far as their people go. I don't know if they are all equipped to handle people with my loved one's condition. They don't have the patience

They do not have enough people to care for the patients. I am going to talk to the administrator about my concerns.

It is clean. They do not have enough help and they do not get things done they say they will do.

I am familiar with other facilities in the area and I would recommend Woodlands Place. Especially in comparison to those, this facility is much cleaner and bright, not depressing at all. I have spoken with my loved one and he says the therapy he has received is great but that the nursing care hasn't been. From knowing him I would assume he is probably having trouble getting help when he needs assistance. I did not find the staff to be very friendly when we arrived. In fact, it was two hours before anyone came in to see him.

We had a problem with my mom's pain pills. She did not get it and it is scheduled every 4 hours. She has a sitter who stays with her as well. I know she is high maintenance but the aide was rolling her eyes as she entered the room. They were mean and rough when turning her. They did not answer the light.

The overall experience was not up to my standard. My standards are pretty high. There were a lot of miscommunication issues, and people not doing their jobs. The nurses are not able to tell me what medications they were delivered to my mother when they brought them in. I quickly saw that it was not working and they were not changing, and that needed to move her.

They did not do anything. My loved one was not happy and they did not do what they said they would do.

She has been in several rehabs and she liked this one more than any others. All of the girls there are making an effort to get her back on her feet. It's a beautiful facility and it doesn't stink. Somebody is doing a good job with the cleaning. They've been communicating with me really well.

It is great and organized. It is very clean and I loved it. He has not complained to me yet about the meals. They are good at keeping in touch with me on what is going on.

The transition from the hospital was very smooth. I would be happy here if I was the patient. The gentleman was very, very nice and introduced himself. Everyone has been nice and kind. They introduced themselves. The nurses are bringing his medication in, the dietary people have come in to check on him. It's nice and clean. The meals seem to be okay. It's institution food, but he's eating and it was much better than when he was in the hospital.

A Place for Mom has scored Woodlands Place Rehabilitation Suites 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
