When I moved my sister to Woodland Country Manor she was examined and checked in by a nurse right away. She felt safe and happy right away. People check on her often and come to get her for meals and activities. They treat everyone like family. Not a huge changeover in staff at all. Many spend their whole career there. I have never heard of anyone having a bad experience there. They call me every time there is even a small change or concern in my sister's care. She has Alzheimer's Disease.... Read more

My loved one is currently a resident at Woodland Country Manor and everything has been great for her so far at this facility! Her last facility was not a good fit for her at all, however this one has been absolutely great for her! It's a wonderful, family owned facility and the employees and owners truly care about the residents. They come and get my loved one for activities and interact with her a lot. She has Alzheimer's disease. At her previous facility, she used to call and text family members all day wanting to go home. That is not the case now. Now she calls and asks for things to help her feel more settled in (blankets, exercise ball, etc). Also, the communication lines are much much better here. I would recommend Woodland Country Manor to others!

My loved currently lives here and does physical therapy here as well. I feel it has been a good expereince overall. The food here is excellent, and the nursing staff have been really good with my loved one. My only issue with this faculty is that the residents have to share rooms. I know that a lot of places are like this, but I honestly feel it is almost inhumane. My loved one has little privacy, and I know I would not like this for myself.

A Place for Mom has scored Woodland Country Manor Inc 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
