My stepmother was placed in this facility on a "first available bed" scenario. During the nearly 12 months she resided in this "care" facility her wedding and engagement rings (which she never removed) went missing, as did an expensive coat and two expensive sweaters, new slippers, etc. The family complained several times about lack of care (hearing aids not installed, dentures not in, etc.). Residents are not allowed to keep treats in their rooms and we noticed that treats didn't seem to reach our relative unless we were there....I actually saw one worker leave with a bag of ice cream sundaes that I'd asked to have placed in the freezer for distribution in the coming days. There are always excuses for what I consider to be substandard care but little improvement. There are way better places - I would give this one a miss.
