West Lawrence is undoubtedly one of the worst nursing homes in the state of New York. The majority of the staff are really uncaring and only there to earn a pay check! The food is disgusting and there is literally no recreational activities for the residents! West Lawrence is not the place you should send your loved ones if you care and love them!

West Lawrence is not a place for love ones , it's like you're in the Stone Age . The place needs an overall , the beds are old the furnitures are old. Forget about the care there's one LPN to care for 43 residents and two CNA to care for 43 residents , there are one CNA on some floors. You enter certain floors and the odor is bad urine smell and dirty floors

This facility does not provide great patient care to their residents. Residents are a risk for neglect and abuse, poor staff to patient ratio, one nurse to 40 residents plus two nurse's aides to 40 plus patients. The level of care is below standard for nursing homes, I would not recommend this facility to anyone, I had to transfer my grandmother to another facility.
