I hired Visiting Angels to care for my mother-in-law. Overall they were great! She was happywith the services they provided.
I had very little interaction with the caregivers themselves because I live a few hours away but we did have some issues. We didn't feel like my aunt and uncle were getting the best care. They weren't really doing some of the light housekeeping and things like that, which they were supposed to be doing. I think that the value wasn't there for us. It was $21 an hour with a minimum of four hours and I'm just not sure the were getting the care. There was poor communication. There was a binder there but I feel the caregivers just didn't leave clear information in the binders about the care or what they did for the day.
