For services offered
Two Caring Hands Private Home Care offers companionship, personal care, and housekeeping services to seniors in Decatur, Georgia, and the surrounding counties. Because this is a home care organization, it doesn't have a facility — instead, coordinators send trained and qualified caregivers to provide much-needed services from the comfort of your own home.
The staff operates with dignity, professionalism, and respect, and all staff members undergo extensive training and background checks. They're able to provide nonmedical home care, which can include anything from simple companionship to grooming and toileting help. Homemaker services, like laundry and tidying up, are popular, and coordinators can also provide caregivers who help with post-surgical care, dressing wounds, and making sure medication is being taken on time. In some cases, coordinators can help you work with third-party health care providers. The caregivers also provide reminders for doctor and physical therapy appointments.
For seniors with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, Two Caring Hands supplies trained caregivers to work compassionately and effectively with them. These caregivers can make sure your loved one is safe and can help reduce anxiety for both you and your loved one through redirection strategies, and by being capable and gentle listeners. The coordinators perform regular quality...

The first part of our experience with the agency was great, we communicated with them very well, everything was like what they said it would be. There was one lady who really went out of her way to take care of our loved one, sometimes our loved one was difficult and she was able to handle it. However, after awhile things got a little messy, they did not have the workers to fill the positions, so it just did not really end on a good note

I only used them for about 3 weeks and I was not very pleased with the caregivers that we got with the exception of one. I feel like they were not properly trained or not suited well for the care that my dad was needed at the time. The one caregiver that we did like was great with him. Overall due to our experience I would not recommend to others looking.
