I'm a Combat Vet I came here from Nashville VA orders and I'm unsafe here in many ways. I stayed 10 days of misery. I tried to leave 2 days after being put in a room that was nasty dirty floors littered with bandages and IV strips. The covid-19 ward is 2 doors down on the 5th floor. They are not suppose to.open the door but every meal they open the door and the air circulates through the non covid ward. I press the button for help. Wait for a long time I ask for pain medication it was denied due to the night shift doesn't have permission till morning. Some staff are super nice some are so bad and the thiefery is awful. Yes staff steals paitents food and personal belongings. Some change floors their belongings are still in the old room they moved from. I wasn't transfered safely from my wheelchair to my bed I'm a member of Paralyzed Veterans of America. So my thoughts are that you don't want to come here. Again there are jewels of staff. But far few from those who just milk their time clocks. Covid-19 changed the kitchen menu so it's not healthy at all for diabetics. No diabetic food snacks at all. My sugar is over 300 because if it. VA should never transfer vets here.

My mother has been a patient of Trevecca Health & Rehab since October 2018. Frankly, I don't see how they merit a five star rating. Since she has been there I have personally witnessed; 1) Distribution of unlabeled medications, 2) Facility personnel entering the room with gloved hands and handling patient's food Items and returning them to the food tray then leaving the room wearing the same gloves, 3) Moving mom up in the bed and slamming her head into to headboard, 4) Calling for transport for her dialysis when she was not prepared to go, resulting in multiple transport charges for services not rendered, 5) Due to poor planning and preparation, Mom missed two dialysis treatments within 5 weeks resulting in her going 5 days between treatments seriously effecting her mental status. I am currently looking for an alternative to this facility as I fear for her well being.

It is a very good community it just did not have the level of care we were looking for. The neighborhood is not appealing but it is looked in a good location it is near the Trevecca University campus so it really helps.
