My loved ones stay at Topeka Center seems to be going fine. The schedule for the medication can improve. Other than that the staff seems friendly when I go and visit him. I would recommend them to a friend.

They're alright. They do a good job and it ain't easy taking care of people. I don't have no problems. Every time I go there my wife has been fed and she's clean. It's always been clean when I'm there. The food and everything seems like it's pretty good.

There seems to be a lot of friendly people there, and that's the main thing. My loved one complains about the portion sizes.

The stay with Topeka Center has gone well. My loved one is going to all the classes they are offering him. He is liking his physical therapy program and they offer all of the equipment he is used to using. I know that he was real happy about that. The nursing care is pretty good. The staff has been friendly but I know that they are understaffed. All of the staff has been real nice and courteous. They are keeping his room clean and they helped him get his things organized which I appreciated. He likes the meals occasionally and then there are other times he does not. I would have preferred a little more communication.

The experience at Topeka Center for Rehabilitation has been fair. The staff here is always courteous and professional. On certain occasions, I have personally seen where my loved one has to wait a long time for help. As far as I know, she has enjoyed the meals so far here. I mean, there have been some things she hasn't enjoyed as much but I could go to any cafeteria and might not like what they are serving. I think they are doing a pretty good job in this area. Communication has been very good actually.

They take care of my dad. I enjoy the staff, they do the best they can. They keep the place as clean as they can. They don't offer any outdoor recreation whatsoever. There are no extracurricular activities outside of the facility at all. Once a month I get a call or letter with date and time of a regular care plan meeting. Realistically nothing ever changes.

I am hoping it will be better now that they are under new management. They do try. The activities director is very very patient. The meals are very good and they try. I have to call them and ask them to get updates unless there is a big medical issue.

My mother is in the facility and it is awful. They are constantly short staffed. The food is horrible and always late. The good staff leaves due to the way they are treated by the administration. My mother needs assistance to use the bathroom and they take forever to respond to her call light even though she turns the call light on in 30-45 minutes in advance. Unfortunately there aren’t that many good nursing homes in Topeka. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I know there will always be pros and cons at these places, but this place has more bad things than any good things.

I would recommend Topeka Center! They are very accommodating and changed my loved one's room because he was cold. The staff have been very kind and it is going well. My loved one had personal items go missing. Everybody has been very kind and they answer the call button quickly for help. The rehab has been wonderful. It has been clean and they come in every day to clean. The only problem was with the request for food and it is a learning process.
