Nothing but kind and caring staff. In the 16 months that we have been there, we have had no problems with the staff. Communication is wonderful, she is now in memory care and I can text the director anytime we need something done. We have moved her 3 times since January 2023. She started in Independent and after about 9 months we concluded she needed more care. The move to assisted living went very smoothly, the staff helped us with the transition to her new room. After a few more months it became apparent she needed the memory care, she was wandering a little more. Another smooth transition upstairs to MC. 3 days after moving her she had a stroke, so her independent days are long gone. She needs help with almost everything and the staff has been caring, respectful and tries their best to maintain her dignity with daily care. It's hard, we could not do this ourselves. They are wonderful. All along, the meals have been good. She has never complained about the food. It's for sure institutional type meals, can't expect home cooking feeding that many residents, but since we moved her out of independent, she has been eating regularly and has put on the weight she needed. The Vantage is a little on the pricey side, not as high as some others I looked at, but I think we are getting the best care we can for her. I would recommended The Vantage at Cityview for anyone who potentially needs the transitional care like we did. I didn't expect her to be in memory care so soon, but it's worked out and we are content.... Read more

The move in process was pretty easy. Any issues were immediately addressed. Transportation is extremely good and thoughtful. My mother LOVES her housekeeper! They come twice per month, not every other week. The food is acceptable, sometimes better than others. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Mom is happy there!

I would have to give The Vantage of City view a 5 in all categories. I have previous experience and appreciate being able to live at The Vantage. The director seems to choose his staff very well. All staff members do their jobs well, be maintenance, cleaning services, kitchen help, etc. when first coming here I noticed the cleanest of the facility. I appreciate the maintenance staff because they are quick to answer service calls. The staff seems to know everyone and their names. The apartments are cleaned every two weeks, without fail. I'm in my 2nd year and have no complaints. I've made this my home and not just a rental property. The food is good even though, we have full kitchens and can cook for ourselves, I only occasionally warm food rather than go to the dining room. Can't say enough about the activities available to the tenants and the comfortable movie theater. However, you should come visit and judge for yourselves. You must understand, a facility isn't just operated efficiently, it takes people liking their work and doing their jobs to accommodate an older generation. These employees are young and could easily fall into doing what's best for themselves, I've noticed non of that, from management on down. I had many choices but recognize right away that I would fit into this environment and have. I'm 82 and plan to live out the rest of my time here at The Vantage.

They are VERY responsive to any requests that is made whether it is maintenence or anything else you have questions about. We have just had such a wonderful experience here. They have SO many activities provided for the residents. They have 5 or 6 things going on every single day whether it is resident led, exercise classes by the physical therapist, movies, Bridge, art, painting etc. I would highly recommend them to others, especially compared to what we had experienced previously - this is such a warm welcome.

Overall it has been a very easy transition for us as a family. My mom is having a rough time with the change, but that's to be expected. The staff has been above and beyond friendly, helpful, and responsive. The apartment is perfect for her. She ended up with a second-story apartment with a beautiful view. It's also larger, with a den, so she could bring more furniture. Those things helped encourage her to make the move.

The Vantage has a great atmosphere. Everyone seems very happy there, which is a key indicator that it's a good place. The staff have been very attentive to our needs. The food is phenomenal. They have plenty of actives and a great variety to suit all interests. I really like the floor plan - the one bedroom is very spacious. My loved one was even able to fit a pull-out sofa bed for when guests come to visit. I think The Vantage is an incredible value.

It is a very upper class community
It is a very pleasant atmosphere right when you walk in and what struck us right away was just how friendly the front desk staff are and that is not always the case. When we come to visit and we stop to look at something or are walking down the halls the residents will just come up to us and start engaging in conversation which we love. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families

The Vantage at Cityview is a great option. the units and services are nice. the value and location are great as well. my loved one has stated that the meals started off really good, but they've recently had issues with staffing shortages and other things, so the meals are not as good as they were. other than that, we are overall happy with this community.

Our family had an in person tour and the lady I met with was wonderful, you could really tell she knew what she was talking about. The had a wonderful outdoor area, and the grounds just made it seem homier. They had a pool which was great. However the price was not justifiable for me, but in general it seemed like a very good place in a nice location.
I have been here 4 years and still am glad that I chose to . There have been changes, but I am one who can adjust. Staff is good and caring, food suits me, so I I hate my 'home' high.
We are very happy with The Vantage. My mom has been here for a couple of months and she is really enjoying it. It was the first place that we toured and it was always at the top of our list. The residents here are extremely friendly and welcoming to new comers. The food is good, you only have an option to get 2 meals a day, and one of them has to be breakfast. I do wish they had more options on the food plans because our loved one does not eat breakfast. Overall I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

4 years of residence has been VERY satisfactory.
The Vantage is a comfortable place to spend my remaining years. The staff is very warm. It is a good choice for a place to live.
This is the best place I've lived in retirement.
Very satisfied with my time here - it is very conveniently located to health facilities.
We chose Vantage at Cityview because of the location and the value for the money. The apartment sizes here are great. We think it is a wonderful place and it has felt like home since we got here. I would recommend them.

A Place for Mom has scored The Vantage at Cityview 10 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
