We should have been clued in as to how well this agency was going to serve us when no one showed for work on the first scheduled day. In the past two months with Tender Loving Family Care, we have been lucky if an aide showed up to my mother’s home for half of the scheduled hours. No one calls to let us know they will be late (or to cancel). Schedulers and supervisors seem unaware that aides have not shown up. Aides showing up after I have called to complain, arrive apologizing, saying that they were not told that they were on the schedule. However, some of those same aides told us that they are scheduled for the next day and that they will see us then. Again, they often do not show. Aides are most often not self motivated or self directed, failing to see the obvious everyday tasks that need to be done. Asking my mother what she would like them to do, and half the time not performing those tasks either. Most aides seemed to be poorly trained and unable to accomplish the most basic cooking and cleaning chores. There were a few aides that spent the majority of their scheduled hours on the phone in another room, and a couple of times curled up in a chair to sleep. Needless to say, not an experience that has inspired confidence in our Home Health Aide System.

TLFC is a great home care agency. They care about the needs of our family, work with us when our schedules change and when we need someone at a moments notice, they are very accommodating and flexible. Their commitment to provide excellent care is one reason we will never leave! The caregivers are on time, professional and very attentive to our needs!! TLFC has truly become part of our family and were so grateful for the services they provide to us and our community.

This company is AWESOME! There are so many caring and dedicated staff, from the coworkers all the way up to the owner. Sure it's work and can be stressful but at the end of the day you feel accomplished and valued. The families are lucky to their services available. Whether you are looking to be an employee or a customer, you'll be glad you made the choice of Tender Loving Family Care.

As I read the horrible reviews about this company it saddens me because I’ve experienced nothing but top of the line service from all aspects. I am big on communication and made that very clear before signing with this company! I got a phone call EVERYTIME to notify of any changes IF any. The aides were always polite and very attentive to all needs! The scheduling department always worked with me and called to discuss options if there was a emergency call off because let’s face it life happens. The company has great loving and caring nurses! I’ve had personal interactions with the owner and she was just an amazing individual! So loving and caring. She has a open door policy and invites you right in even if it’s just to simply give you a hug and a bright smile. I love this company and would recommend it a million times over and over! I pray they continue to impact lives positively the way they have impacted mines!! 5 stars hands down! [name removed]

Very poor scheduling by Mgmt. No advance notice given to client to let them know if aide is coming on scheduled day(s) and/or time. Many last min. cancel'n of aide service. Poor training for services like cooking, laundry, common household duties. Aides arrive late and are slow in performing duties like grocery shopping and laundromat. Aides are friendly, however. Biggest issue is with poor scheduling and poor client communication. They make you feel like you work for them and aren't in need of services when you have many md. appts., and need to cancel even though YOU give them notice. If your aide is unable to come on sched. day/time, THE STAFF never advises you ahead of time. Unless YOU call THEM, you're left wondering. If you need help as was previously arranged, go to another agency. Their rules change like the weather. Even their aides complain about their sched'g. being inconsistent. Sadly they start out nicely, but soon things change. Be cautious.

Please find a different company to go with. If they are the cheapest option there is a reason why. They have no quality control and your life will revolve around them not the other way around, if they send you anyone at all. They are not consistent or truthful.
