My sister and I chose this facility for our father, who started off as a rehabilitation patient but eventually required Longterm Care. The therapy department is outstanding and provided my father with excellent OT and PT services. They are a group of kind, knowledgeable and caring people that went above and beyond for my father, which gave myself and my sister great comfort. The nurses were attentive, kind and caring. Staffing during these times of COVID, Flu and various viruses is an issue in any facility, but I never felt my father's care was compromised. We are very grateful to the staff at The Suffield House.... Read more

I knew this community as, ‘The Suffield House’. My loved one did not have a good experience at this community. They are very short staffed. They treat people like they are numbers instead of treating them like they are human beings and this can cause a lot of harm to a person living in that environment. My loved one is happier now that they live someplace else.

close to home. Studio felt boxy but clean. menu items seemed ok. Mom would like the "bar" and the view of CT river. Activities schedule ok. Can ride back and forth to Enfield Senior Center. Beautiful view. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very nice - upscale - pricey. On site continuing care through nursing home next door. Family-owned.

A Place for Mom has scored Suffield House 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
