This agency is a nightmare. We were signed up through the hospital and did not know any better. Over the year that we stayed with them, we struggled to get every single needed service. We had to call medicare many times to get them to send bathing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and even nursing. We were sent different nurses most of whom were new and unskilled. Our loved one suffered with bedsores, and pain without treatment and the supervising nurse [name removed] was uncaring and dismissive. This agency should not be in home health as well being of the patient is not their concern. We are signed up with a new agency and there is a world of difference in the care. We receive ALL needed services without asking , have a wonderful nurse, Occupational and physical therapist. If you care about your loved one and your own well being, do not sign up with St. Joseph.
