The support we get is inconsistent or not at all. We get calls from senior helpers last minute with constant changes. The care is not consistent or lacking altogether. We are very disappointed in the attention and care we are getting.

About two months ago I contacted Senior Helpers to make arrangements for a person to come to my home to help look after my wife, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. Following a 20 minute interview on the phone, I was visited by a case coordinator my area, who spent about an hour at my house with me and my wife, doing a thorough evaluation of our needs. At the end of that visit I was told that the next step would be to find a caregiver to match our needs, something that would happen within just a few days, and that I should expect a call back from Senior Helpers very soon. After about a week with no further contact, I called again for an update and was told that the case coordinator would call me back right away. Several more days passed and I called again, again with the same result: no further contact. Now that two months have passed, I am still waiting for that call back, which has been promised to me repeatedly. I don’t know why Senior Helpers has behaved toward me in this way. Maybe they were simply unable to find someone to provide the services I needed on the days and times I needed them, but that still does not explain why they didn’t just tell me that rather than continuing to make me believe that they were both ready and able to fill my request without any further wait. I am not the sort of person that goes out of my way to criticize others on the Web, but the way Senior Helpers has treated me at a time when I was, and continue to be, desperate for help is so outrageous that I feel it is my duty to warn anyone who is thinking of turning to them for help. These are not honorable people. They think nothing of ignoring their customers. They are not reliable. They are not trustworthy. Be very careful, and good luck!

We used Senior Helpers during a very difficult time. They provided excellent service and helped connect us with resources in the area. We interviewed many companies and they were the experts when it came to Alzheimer's and Dementia.

awful wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy - I have used their service for over 1 year will spend over $75,000 for their service - the problem starts at the top whoever manages the Havertown office doesn't know how to treat a customer/client. Desperately looking for another service who wants my business

Senior Advisers 7/13/2017 he most important service that I need was for Housekeeping Chores; these task were either not done or incomplete. [Removed], yes I am canceling the service. I am very disappointed, I don't understand, after walking through I was angry to be taken advantage of, three hours to do vacuum two rooms, Laundry, making a bed. no dusting of anything, bathroom not cleaned shower or basin floor was not moped. kitchen only floor was moped, but not cleaned. I ask her to wipe the cabinets & appliances down in the kitchen, this was not done. I furnished all cleaning supplies that were needed. After just walking through the apt, I cannot afford to pay $23.00 per hour (3hours) for just to vacuum, make a bed & laundry . I have to now find someone do what I thought would be done. I needed someone that could be trusted to do what they were being paid for, and I don't want to have to micro manage them to the job. Plus she advised me that she was pregnant. I sent Senior Helpers a list of task that were important and was assured that these services were available to me. I am still seeking someone to be able to do these task. Thank you [Removed] ...
