No Follow-Up!

They responded quickly at first...I don't think I would recommend...They had the aide fill out a task sheet every visit in a notebook and didn't request it be returned. There was never a follow up call or visit to see how everything was going .. My opinion you need to ask as a form of customer service and to improve future care ..I would NOT recommend to a friend or family member ....

Our Experience

Our experience so far, initial promises and commitments not met. Friendliness, they are all friendly. Most of them we have seen have had very little or no training and definitely not with a paralyzed person. After 3 months, we may finally have a team that can now do the job. However, fill-ins typically are untrained and have to be trained by us to do job. There are multiple tasks they are all supposed to be able to do but cannot or will not do them. Value for cost - for the service given, definitely overpriced. If things settle down for the next few months, we will stay with them. If the next month things start to decline, we will be looking elsewhere.

Review for Senior Helpers - Dayton, OH

My experience was not the most positive. The aides were respectful but too many different people were sent to the home and many didn't provide several of the services advertised. Additionally, the company kept the deposit which by contract they were allowed to do but by doing so didn't demonstrate any compassion given that services had to be stopped due to a hospitalization and subsequent change in level of care needed.
