The owners of Senior Helpers in Cypress, CA are warm and compassionate people. However, we have had serious problems with their business practices. We signed a contract on [date removed] in which they agreed to strike both the 2 week notice for cancellation of the service (under 4. Term) and the 48 hour notice for cancellation of a shift. We provided a $[removed] deposit at the initiation of services because we expected to need many hours for my father's care initially when his primary caregiver was recovering from an illness. We paid via an ACH. After we cancelled our service with them, they did not return my fax, emails or calls to request return of the deposit. After chasing them down, one of the owners called me on [date removed] to say that he reviewed the contract, that I was right, and agreed to return the deposit within 10 days. We still don't have it as of [date removed].
