Right at Home cared for my father. He had a live in caregiver and the caregiver did a wonderful job. It was great fit for both of them. He helped my dad with all of his daily needs. The company and staff were caring, kind and compassionate. Thank you everyone for the great service.

After my grandmother needed constant help we hired hired this company. From the beginning the people they sent were awful. They would show up late, or not at all with no prior warning. They would do the bare minimum when taking care of my grandmother, and sometimes even less. They would forget to feed her, refuse to clean up after she had an accident, refuse to talk with her unless she needed something. Otherwise they would be on thier phone in another room. Complaining to management did nothing as the next person they would send would be just as bad. I can not say enough awful things about them! We had to look elsewhere for help.

My Mother had 3 different aides since my Dad passed in 2014. The first one was ok but was reassigned once my Mom had surgery and rehab and was out of her house for 6 weeks. The 2nd one had diabetes, was incontinent, peed on my Mom's chair and denied it. She was also defensive, lazy and stupid. She couldn't bend because she was too fat, therefore she didn't like to clean anything. She couldn't count either but drove ok which I was happy to hear. The final one before my Mom passed in May unfortunately had to become a live in the last 2 months. She drank in the middle of the night, left the kitchen light on and blamed me, my brother, cousin, etc. She forgot to turn the oven off and close the garage door when she brought garbage out. She was 30 yrs younger than Mom and Mom had to remind her to do everything. Every night I called I had to make sure oven was off and garage door was closed. This is just a profit center for RAH, for $13 hr with no medical benefits what do you expect the get? All RAH aides "play" their clients, they think they are all rich widows. The owner was very defensive about her aides. Meanwhile she has a very shady background as a "former" lawyer. I miss Mom every day but glad we don't have to deal with this company any longer.

The aides are all lazy and "play" the clients whom they think are all rich. If they can sit all day and watch tv they will do so. Ask them to clean and they say not today. They want to do so on their schedule and are often defensive. One aide was incontinent and had diabetes and peed on my Mother's chair and denied it. My mother was sitting on the couch and does not have this issue. The last aide drank almost an entire bottle of her amaretto which was in the back of a closet. She denied it and said my cousin drank it. She left the kitchen light on in the middle of the night which sealed her fate. She also forgot to turn off the stove, close the garage door, take the clothes out of the washing machine....and still blamed my Mother. The aide swore on her children's lives that she was telling the truth. What do you want for $13 hr with no medical benefits? The owner has a real attitude and thinks are aides are all wonderful. Even her husband left her employ to get another job. What does that say about her? Stay far away from the RAH in East Brunswick.

I contracted with this agency for my elderly grandparents. They charged me for two nursing assessments to determine the level of need, when the service agreement clearly stated $150 for a nursing assessment. Both grandparents are in the same home and I had already spoken to the nurse and explained in extreme detail both their service needs which were the same. The nurse didn't spend an hour with one person and then an hour with the other, but I was charged twice. They also assigned an aide that could not drive when my grandparents are homebound. [Name removed], the owner is also very rude and arrogant. The nurse [name removed] and scheduler were very pleasant and understanding of the difficulties when working with dementia and want to help you.

When my Dad was in a rehab center a few years ago, we asked the staff to recommend home health care for him after he was discharged. They provided us with several companies and, after meeting with and learning about all of them, we made the very easy and very good decision to work with [name removed] at Right at Home of Central New Jersey. Her caregivers took excellent care of my father and she delivered on every commitment she made. A few years later when my Mom came out of the hospital after some health issues, we worked with Right at Home of Central New Jersey again and were very happy with the care they provided to my mother. When I had the opportunity to work with [name removed], I did because her philosophy is one that I think all home health care companies should have: we care for your family member the way we would care for our own. I have recommended Right at Home of Central New Jersey to many people in the past and continue to do so because of [name removed] and her team of caregivers and nurses and office staff. Selecting a company to provide a caregiver to come in to your home or your family member's home and then entrusting them with the care of your mother or father can be overwhelming but the entire Right at Home of Central New Jersey team makes it easy because they are dedicated and compassionate and caring.

We had this company for my mom.Very disappointed.Aides fell asleep on the couch, they were late showing up so it made me late for work.The person on the phone was very unpleasant.
