Unprofessional staff, always late, poor patient care, and reports of theft. Extremely dissatisfied with their overall services. Terrible experience! Care was subpar, staff lacked punctuality, and valuables went missing. Would not recommend this company. Thank you

In all agencies, it still depends on the personnel that has sent, although so far I have had 2 subs that were satisfactory. The painful thing is that the whole fee for the month is due on the first before the service is rendered.

Response from Quality Care @ Home
August 27, 2024Hello and Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. I would like to kindly address the monthly payment. Monthly payment upfront is an option it is not required. We also have a bi-weekly option that includes a deposit. The reason for upfront payment is to secure the financial aspect for our caregivers who block off their time and who are using their income to provide for their families, and to secure care for our clients. As many people know this industry has a lot of issues with reliability. Over the last 8 years I have heard this time and time again.... "The agencies just calls and says we have no one to send or they just dont answer the phone". In and effort to address those issues from the start of this agency, my company hires many staff member to provide additional support for call-outs. Which means even our office staff will go out to make sure our clients are covered. Not too many agencies will do this, especially the bigger ones. As the owner I also go out to work with clients to make sure they are covered. I have done this from the begining in 2019. We also guareetee our services and I can say over 6 years it has worked. I can honestly say that in this industry where we work one on one, we have been very successful with being reliable. Maybe missing less than 50 set prepaid schedules in 5 years. I'm almost sure thats a record. In those instances we communicate with clients, refund or credit accounts, and keep our phone lines open at all times. I had an owner of another company ( Not Quality Care@Home) tell me that they tell the families they have to have a back up plan if they can not make it. Well I know that our clients are depending on us to be there and we will not tell someone who has paid upfront that they have to have a backup plan. We are going to make every effort to keep our commitment and even if that means shutting down our office all week. Maybe it is not the right fit for every person. But most of my clients love our setup. They pay at the beginning of the month, the aren't worried about their service not showing up, and they don't have to worry about missed payments or late payments. I think upfront payments provide a sense of entitlement for our customers, as it should. It also provides a small sense of job security for our caregivers. And every one knows job security in home care is almost non-existent. Thank you again for your time and I hope you can appreciate why we operate this way. Please feel free to reach out to us at anytime with any concerns.

They were nice people they just weren't very well organized. They just need a better plan. They came and watched my loved one when I needed to go out. I never got invoices, I was just told what to pay and I would have preferred to have invoices.

Response from Quality Care @ Home
October 5, 2021Thank you for taking your time to provide a review. All clients receive invoices for all transactions. There can be a mix up in the email provided to us which can cause the invoice to not be delivered correctly. I believe that is what happened in this case. However I am personally always available to address concerns for all of my clients. With everything and all the illnesses in our world today, you can imagine how tight staffed in- home companies are today. We are overwhelmed and or first priority is to provide compassionate care to our clients and their family. An invoice can be fixed in just a few taps on the computer. We will continue to do our best through this time. Thank you again for the review.
Quality Care @ Home stepped up to help when my mother-in-law was admited to hospice on a Friday afternoon. We were in need of overnite care so that my husband and I could get some sleep. A few larger agencies told me for sure they could help - in a month or so. For a hospice patient. [name removed] stepped up and worked over the weekend to get 10p.m. - 6a.m. care in place by Monday evening. With 2 kind, qualified care-givers. That's helping. That's Quality Care.
