The Aid that provided aid and assistance "care" to us was excellent. She is family oriented, understands the needs of the family and she really did an excellent job. My husband had been in and out of hospitals and we desperately needed someone with experience and the desire to help come in and assist us with things like light housekeeping, making sure he was clean and properly dressed, preparing light lunches, assisting him with his cognitive skills, recording his finger pricks for his doctor to monitor, not administering medication but reminding him to take his meds was a big help. When I had doctor appointments or errands to run etc., it was wonderful to have someone reliable that we felt comfortable with to sit with him. They worked on puzzles or just talked about current events, his time in the military, he loved to talk when he wasn't too tired.
