Physical Rehab and Wellness Center of Spartanburg

Night nurses can't be found sometimes. Was told NOT to use call button again. Refused to give me Ibprofun & it was on my med list. Wheel chairs were nasty, disgusting. Would not bring me towels or wash cloths to take a shower. Had to go get them myself.

Terrible customer service with the Social Worker at this facility. She didn't offer any assistance to the family with trying to find a facility to place a veteran of the country. She told the family they had one week to find a place to move the veteran or he will be put out. I would not recommend this facility to anyone due to the very poor customer service we received.

I think it was an excellent stay. The nursing care was excellent!

My loved one's stay was good but the CNAs would not put him in the pants he wanted.

The rehab therapy was great. The staff care needs to improve. They do not help right away.

I am in the rehab portion of the wellness center. I turned my light on because I had to go to the bathroom. I need assistance when I get up. I had to wait two hours. I turned my TV up to get someone's attention. That worked. The aid tried making excuses but that didn't work. I have sat in my room for 3hrs with no attention, no one came in to check on me or give me assistance. The rehab workers are very nice and very helpful, other staff no so much. Never offer me anything to drink but with meals. I am not suppose to have salt or dairy products. Every meal I get both. They can't tell me what meds I am on. They tell me one thing and tell my family another. I can't wait to go home.

I would recommend the facility! The center has been wonderful! The nurses do everything they are supposed to do. Not only that but they have been really nice too. They do a beautiful job with the cleanliness both throughout his facility as well as in his room. It is always clean. He's kind of picky with the meals. Maybe the staff could meet with him and figure out more of what he prefers so they can serve meals that fit his dietary needs. The nurses are the ones I have been in most contact with as far as communication and they have done a great job!

It went very well. We are just getting discharged today but I would say that Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Spartanburg was excellent! Their rehab therapists were great! There was a nurse who she had that was particularly helpful but I would say as a whole, everyone was. I cannot really say I did not see the meals but I can say that she did not complain.

All they did, they did it right.

I have talked to him and his caseworker daily and he is doing okay. The social worker is very nice, informative and helpful. The meals are great!

Their rehab therapy helps him gain better walking skills. Some type of activity is better than none! They are very nice and seem to be very attentive. The nurses seem as if they're on the ball. It seems fairly clean. I walked in once and there was something on the floor, but that was just one time. He's asked for milk, and they haven't given it to him once. That's the only thing he's ever said. I got an update when they decreased his medication, but I haven't received regular updates.

It is just a really nice place. My loved one laughs and says she is at the motel. The rehab therapists dress her foot every day and re-dress it. The caseworker is super nice and reached out to the doctor about home health if she needs it and has had her hair done. The nurses are so nice to her and constantly checking on her to see if she needs anything. It is very clean. All the meals have been really good.

I would recommend them to a friend. The total care was good for him. Some of them when they took his clothes off, would leave him in the bathroom. Overall, there are always a few that were not so friendly. The nurses were very attentive. Some weren't, but the majority of them were. I've seen dirtier.

My loved one did not get enough therapy. It only happened once a day. There was also a division in nursing care. I was satisfied with the morning shift but not the evening shift. Last evening she was there she mentioned to the nurse working that she was having trouble breathing. The nurse did nothing. The area she was in was kept clean. The meals were so, so.

The rehab therapy is fine maybe even wonderful. It was all botched some days because the facility was hosting people for the evacuations from Charleston. The nurses were understaffed at times. I would say the techs/nursing assistants were really good and tried to be friendly. The nurses were really standoffish. It was much cleaner before the evacuation. He said the meals were way too small. The meals could use some work. Sometimes he would not get condiments or the meals would be missing items. Their communication was pretty good.

Their rehab therapists are good. The staff is very friendly. He liked their meals.

Everything I have asked them to do they are trying to do. It is pretty good. He is making progress. Everything is nice and clean. His nurse is really good with updates during the day.

For the most part, they've been good. Therapy is really good and those ladies do really good work. Mamma says it's going really good. Most of the staff are great. Sometimes it can be a while before they respond to my mother. They seem to want to work there and are really friendly when they come in to help my mother. The nurses are great. It's really clean. Her room can get a little dirty sometimes, but I do see they're advertising to hire more cleaners. My mother likes the food, and she's really picky about food. The staff has called me at work a couple of times with questions about her care.

Overall, the stay was okay. We would recommend the facility. Her rehab therapy services she received while she was there were very good. She actually came home stronger than how she was before her injury. Everyone was friendly but the one nurse. There was one nurse her grandmother did not like. The rest of the nurses provided good care. She seemed to be pleased with the meals. Overall, their communication is fair.

Overall, we had an okay stay at Spartanburg!
