I have been employed with MCHC for almost [dates removed] now. The caregivers are attentive and trained to handle cases based on their skills and requirements as a home health company. Mr. and Mrs. [name removed] go above and beyond for their clients. They ensure that all needs are met to the best of their abilities. I have never worked for a company that is dedicated to their clients as well as the caregivers they hire. The standards are set and I couldn't be employed with one of the best companies on the Southside and peninsula. It is a pleasure for me to service our clients and bring experience to a company that's growing. MCHC is compassionate, understanding, and empathic to the needs of the families we service.

The main reason we chose Moore Comfort Home Care over 2 others is we were interviewing was we were told they had caregivers training to work with clients that have Lymphedema. For one reason or another, we never had this person work for us. Later, we found out that was considered a medical position and not home care. They also were very slow about giving us a schedule until Sunday night for the following week. We finally had to let them go, because we just couldn't afford them anymore! We only needed help for two hours three times a week. They demanded four hours three times a week at $25.00 per hour. We ended up paying the caregivers to watch TV or play on their cell phones.

Don't hire them, because their performance was poor. You had to stay on them to do their responsibilities. If you didn't come and check on them, they weren't' doing their job. If they heard you coming, they'd jump up and act attentive. Basically if you're not watching them, they're not watching the patient. They were very friendly, no confrontation or attitude, but their performance was poor.
