My 67 year old, fully coherent father was sent to recover here from lymphoma-induced pneumonitis. His care was sub-standard at best. Least of the problems were the bottles of urine on the windowsill that were left for days to be collected by staff. One night during his stay, my father could not breathe. His lungs were very inflamed. He called the nurses over, and over, for FIVE HOURS STRAIGHT. They ignored him. He finally had to call a family member on his cell phone. She came in at 4 a.m. and got him a nurse, who realized he was in severe distress and sent him by ambulance to the hospital. Less than 24 hours later, he was dead. Think twice before sending people you love to be [Removed] and die here.
