Nightmare

I'll forever regret putting my dad here. He was severely dehydrated, had a UTI, lost at least 30 pounds, said once that he had been hit and wasn't getting fed, would be so drugged he couldn't talk, had bed sores and bruises on his forearms and upper arm. All this was during a six week stay at the highlight of covid so I couldn't get in and couldn't get him out because nobody would take new clients. Finally due to a Saint of a nurse we got him out and in the hospital where he passed 2 weeks later. Then I had to file a claim to get the 2 grand of his prepaid money back after asking and our lawyer threatening for 9 months. If you love your family member do Not send them here.

Frequently Asked Questions about Mary Lou's Country Home

A Place for Mom has scored Mary Lou's Country Home 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
