WARNING WARNING WARNING!

WARNING!!! I am going to tell you the God honest truth about this place. Legend Oaks Northwest Houston, My mother was here for a couple of months. She went in for rehab after having surgery on her back. I would pop in along with my brothers and sisters. I would find my mom drugged to the point where she couldn't eat and couldn't get out of bed. On the days she was suppose to have therapy she was still in bed. When I ask the nurse why she didn't go? they said she said she didn't want to go and we can't make them go. Well what in he hell is she here for if her soul purpose is to get better. My mom would push the button to be changed and no-one would come, come to find out I was told that there was an electrical issue and they were working on getting it fixed. I kept noticing my mom health declining so I called 911 to have her checked out at Memorial Herman Hospital in Katy,TX. The doctor told me that my mom developed a bacteria called: c-diff colitis which ultimately killed her 3 months latter. This place is not clean and they only have RN who are using this job as a starter job for training. The staff is not friendly and has an excuses for every problem with out justification or clarification. I came back and talked to another patient and she told me she had C-diff and had been in this place off and on and the place lied and said they have never had a patient with c-diff at this location. My mother was 68 when she passed she went in talking alert and within Please, Please don't let your love one go to this place! When I came to visit they were so nice and friendly until you actually get them inside and the true vision of staff and treatment of my mother came to light. Thanks [name removed]

Scary place. Terrible care

This facility is an Medicare fraud facility. They bill your insurance co for help that they don’t do! Drug the patients that they want to stay in bed. Hardly ever clean rooms or change sheets. I can’t warn you enough about how horrible it is. Not enough space. Don’t put your love ones there! Set my sisters health back months!

Trying to get in touch with the social worker here is impossible. I will be going home on Tuesday or Wednesday due to insurance plan, but no one knows the procedure to be released. No problem getting admitted but discharge procedures are another question. I’ve called the front desk to be transferred to the Social Workers voice mail only to be hung up on! Called back, rang 30 times and no answer. I’m very upset and not very happy about this place..

Please believe me when I say, DO NOT trust this facility with the care of your loved one. First of all they could care less about the patients well being and will just ignore any problems. You loved one will go there for one thing, then end up with an infection that will [Removed] them. Don't take a chance with this facility !

This was going to be our choice until we found a smaller more homey place.

This was going to be our choice until we found a smaller more homey place. This was very expensive, and just not what we were looking for. It was very large, and sort of hospital like. For what it is, it was okay, but we didn't need everything they offered.
