First my husband was placed in a room with a roommate when he has history of mercer. Anytime in a facility he’s supposed to be on contact isolation and have a single room. I brought it to their attention and they told me at their facility if it isn’t currently present then he’s allowed to have a roommate. He also recently had his left leg amputated and his bandages are supposed to be changed every 4 hrs, they do it when they feel like it. He’s diabetic and they’re giving him regular food and beverages. They said they don’t carry diabetic beverages. The nurse gives him his meds and didn’t explain what meds she was giving him. She told me he should know what meds he takes already. I mean I could go on and on about how horrible this place is. If you want to send your loved ones to a facility that has excellent patient care this is NOT the facility to send them to.

Can I give 10 stars? I will rate Kearsley in my opinion 10 out of 10. It's a patient-centered, family-oriented care facility that provides their very best in everything that they do. From the brilliant and exemplary administrator, nursing, doctors/nurse practitioners, maintenance, housekeeping, dietary, activities, rehabilitation, social service, business office to the first person you meet at the lobby be rest assured you will receive the best treatment and care you and your loved one deserve.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Kearsley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. I have a meeting with them tomorrow to get more information and I am excited to go to that. My mom is using the therapy services and I could not believe that they had her doing exercises in her bed when I walked in. I cannot tell you how nice that was to see. They have also done something incredible for my mother, right at the beginning of her stay they actually got her glasses. She is so happy about this. I cannot wait to see her with them tomorrow. Everything is going so well here, and definitely a lot better here than another facility we used in the past. They even have her already going to the bathroom on her own. I could not believe it! It has blown my mind. I would absolutely 100% recommend Kearsley.

The overall experience at Kearsley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has been okay. I probably would still recommend the facility.

First of all, I think Kearsley is short of help. My husband is here for short term care and he is hard of hearing. If he as a problem he cannot notify anybody and they do not come around often enough to check on him. Also he is fall risk, so he has sit by the nurses station all day long, and it's very boring for him.
