My husband and I have lived here for 5 years. We began in Assisted living for three years. We had some health changes and needed more care so we moved to the nursing home part where we have lived for the last two years. We think it’s a wonderful place, the staff is caring, it is kept clean and freshly painted all the time! The food is good although everyone has what they like and don’t care for. We have activities everyday that you are free to participate in or not. We go to [location removed], the [location removed] and out to eat regularly Josephine’s is a multi- generational family. I highly recommend avoiding this place. Here was our issues in 2 weeks. 1 which almost costed my mom's life. Concurrence by doctors at hospital. *Ants all over floor *Dirty floor I have to mop every day *Sink didn't work for 3 days *Medicines aren't giving correctly *Nurse going through purse *Nurse stealing her cigarettes *Being called [removed] in rehab. After trying to get through to my mom 6 attempts. Still nothing, I had to get outta bed and drive an hour to check on her myself which is where I found her laying in her own poop and pee and no one would change her clothes or wash them. *Call help button broken *Mom laying in her own poop and pee for 8 hours, second time. No laundry done yet day 11. *Uti infection ignored now. Infection now Moving to her brain and no one will help her still. *Call light button never worked *stole our purse, phone, and furniture *overdosed my mother and almost killed her *gave my mother incorrect medicine confirmed by hospital.
